Sweet memories

A few weeks ago Heidi had the privilege to take to these lovely pictures of this beautiful pregnant mama and her nursing toddler. These pictures are a little extra special to be as they bring back my personal memories of breastfeeding my first son while pregnant. I remember it being such a special moment to reconnect. No matter how crazy or exhausted I felt there were those moment throughout the day that I had to slow down and just focus on my babies. The one growing inside my belly and the one I was holding. It did start getting more interesting and fun as I got bigger. My lap was not quite as big for him to sit on and I will never forget his face the first time he felt his brother kick while he was breastfeeding. 

With The {Breastfeeding} Initiative we want to open a window to people and give them a glimpse at not just the amazing benefits of breastfeeding but also the sweet memories that so many families experience. All different stories and scenarios all doing something that is completely normal.

Welcome to welovebreastfeeding.com . We are so excited about this journey in hopes of make a children's book about breastfeeding. Through this blog we hope to put a face to the two ladies behind this project and keep you updated on our self publishing journey and few interesting breastfeeding facts along the way.
